  • Bang Pae & Ton Sai Waterfalls: Nature education trails
  • Khao Rang: Easy walks near the town

Assessment includes:

  • Trail difficulty (easy, moderate, hard)
  • Safety factors (wildlife hazards, slippery paths, steep inclines)
  • Viewpoints, rest areas, risk points
  • Suitable seasons and weather
  • GPS mapping via apps like AllTrails or Gaia GPS

2. Coordination with Relevant Authorities

  • Phuket Office of Natural Resources and Environment
  • National Parks (if trails fall within protected areas)
  • Licensing for eco-tourism activities (if required)

3. Community Trekking Guide Group

Locals are selected and trained in:

  • Trail and local ecology knowledge
  • Basic first aid
  • Basic English for communication
  • Tourist hospitality

They are equipped with uniforms, ID cards, and guiding equipment.

4. Trekking Program Design
